Taylor Carr - Bio

PRSM (pronounced Prism) is a Houston-based DJ, producer, and creative director operating at the intersection of trap, dubstep, hardstyle, and bass house. His sets are built for rooms that want to feel something, high energy, visually immersive, and technically precise from the first track to the last.

His performance resume speaks for itself. PRSM opened for Sullivan King at Foam Wonderland (Dallas, 2022), Modestep and Dirtyphonics at Magnolia Gardens Park (Houston, 2021), and RIOT at 9PM Venue (Houston, 2021). He headlined Face 2 Face alongside Ethan Capps at Warehouse Live Midtown (Houston, 2025), played The Studio at The Bomb Factory (Dallas, 2025), and stepped in last minute for a sold out YDG show at 9PM Venue (Houston, 2026) and held the room. He has supported JYKL & HYDE at Green Elephant (Dallas, 2024), Hekler at Viva's Lounge (Dallas, 2022), and Black Carl! & VCTRE, D3V, and Blaqout at Green Elephant (Dallas, 2021 and 2022).

On the production side, 2024 and 2025 have been active. His highest streaming release to date is "herefortheparty!" (2025), a genre-defying track that sits somewhere between trap, electronic, and pure energy and has connected with listeners well beyond the bass music space. Other recent releases include "Losing Control (VIP)" with JFRANK, a melodic dubstep reimagining of a fan favorite; "What's My Name!?" an explosive trap anthem; a remix of Marshmello's "Just Can't Stop"; and "Circuit Rush," a high-octane drum and bass cut that rounds out his range as a producer.

Drawing from the sonic worlds of ISOxo, Soltan, Space Laces, and RL Grime, PRSM is building something with staying power. With festival appearances on the horizon and an expanding catalog, the floor is just the beginning.
